Our industry is inextricably linked to the future of the planet, environmental awareness and sustainability have always been at the heart of our business: guiding our practices and motivating our green innovations.
Endeavouring to deal only with suppliers from certified sustainable forests, (exceptional circumstances such as requests for exotic woods sometimes lead us to select uncertified timber from responsible suppliers) we work together with the FSC and PEFC to ensure that our products are environmentally sound. We are affiliated to all relevant trade guilds, including TRADA, and support the monitoring of environmental issues associated within our industry. Issues like sustainability, chain of custody, certificated timber.
EC Forest Products staff are trained in green practices and our plant investment and modern innovation is intended to make efficient use of raw materials.
